Passengers can go to the Madrid airport through train service if persons coming from farther areas or if they want to save the time. Two famous trains which are Renfe and Ave run underground but they directly do not go to the airport as the passenger has to hire either a taxi or car but then it would not be much farther.

The main routes of all trains, their timings are information numbers can be searched through the internet. There is no ticket office at the train station but people are there at the station who gives complete information about the timings but passengers must have some handy cash which they can give to the ticket checker during their journey to the airport. Metro train which directly goes to the terminal 4 leaves after every half hour and its timings are fixed. 2.15 Euros charge for a ticket of single person, reservations can be made in advance by calling on their customer service numbers.

There are other train services which carry the passengers to the airport which runs after every five to eight minutes whole day and maximum time from central Madrid to the airport is 25-30 minutes. But the journey by train is more peaceful if we compare it to other services like going to the airport by car, taxi or by buses.

A passenger cannot carry lots of luggage with them on the train so in such situation; they should prefer either a car or should reserve a taxi. The name of the biggest railway station is Atocha which was constructed in 1851 but later it was reconstructed or renovated. This railway station is in the central of Madrid so passengers from different cities come directly to Atocha airport and then they go to the Madrid airport by train. About 16 million people use the service of this railway station per year, and it is now designed like an airport so its fascinating services also make the passengers happy when they feel relaxed.
